So getting my engine back

Ive been away for a while cause the blasty has been down for a while. I recently had the top end looked at and it needed to be bored because of some piston interference with the exhaust port i believe. It was bored .020 over i believe with a new piston rings bearing and new top end gaskets.
I don't know when i will have time to start putting it back together but when i do is there anything i should check out with a bored engine? such as carb tuning or anything

Leak test

check your jets, and adjust if you had not for other mods. boring does not require different jets.

The major thing to be done after rebuilding and before starting the engine is to leak test it.

clean the jug with soap and warm water prior to assembly and use plenty of straight 2 stroke oil as assembly lube than do as said above.

Snap, I was going say that Dave. After washingdry and wipe cyl down with paper towel soaked with oil.

BUT, I will say to inspect the port openings to be sure that they were "champhered" correctly.

After all the above do some heat cycles and not just start it and rip it wide open..

3 to 5 heat cycles and ride 2 tanks of fuel at no more than 3/4 throttle.

Ok thanks guys. The blaster is stock other than the bore so just some basic stuff it seems like.
