Got snow in my area the past few days and being as my breakin was finally done I headed up into the snow with a good buddy of mine and boy did we have some fun. My blaster ran great, and wasn't phased by any snow if you had a careful thumb to keep from digging a big hole 8-| . I'd say at the top of the hill we were pushing 18" of snow, I floated right on top :D

We didn't grab any pics, frankly cause we were having too much fun to bother lol. I've never had a bike to ride in the snow before, but its a blast! Wheeling in the trucks is fun but I think for the time being I'm going to retire my pickup and rock the blaster for a while B)

I'd like to say another thank you to everybody that helped me out in getting it running, may yall ride on and have a merry christmas

I did not rejet for colder weather. I rejetted after the rebuild to get a good mixture and haven't bothered it since (though a recent plug chop showed a-ok). It didn't seem to have any power issues up there, though I haven't rode it much down at my place to have a real comparison to make.

Ice huh? May have to give that a try soon :D

Always rejet for changed weather conditions unless the jetting was set for the colder weather.

Rejetting is a must when riding at lower temps, the motor will seem to be going really well but maybe running on a lean enough mixture to cause serious piston damage.

You could be 2 or 3 jet sizes out, depending on how low the temp has changed.

Re jet and plug chop for the present conditions or face a premature rebuild.
