smoking

i was riding my dirtbike today and i cut it off and smoke was slowly coming out of the exhuast after it was turned off...whats the deal?

Were you riding it hard ? does it smell like burnt plastic? if it smells like that its gonna be a crank seal

I just went and started it up and it's fine now not smoking and it dosent smell anymore..is it okay?

i would say if its not smoking bad anymore then it alright

sweeeeet, i just need to get the clutch kit then im thinking about trading it for a nice blaster, i'm not really into dirtbikes that much. I dont know if anyone would trade but w.e we'll see.

just try to sell it then buy a blaster...put it on craigslist and see what happens

it's an 80..and i live in north carolina..and it did seem like a smoking gun but it stopped and i have rode it about 10 different times since and it's been fine.

same thing happened to me when i let a friends dad drive it its been fine since and put up a thread and every said it was the packing in the exuast!
