Silencer help

There is no packing except in the rear nose of my silencer how much should i pack it my sons dg came packed and the bike would not run till it was removed so should u or sould u not pack silencers ???????????:-/and if so how much

just go buy a pack of fmf 2 stroke packing, its like 10 bucks. then use the whole bag. i used the handle of a huge crescent wrench to pack mine.

So what u all are saying is i sould pack my silencer and what do i gain or loose or hurt by not packing or packing AND WHAT SIZE STEAL WOOL SHOULD I USE

some ppl say they gain power but idk i have yet to do it i heard it makes it more quiet
