A spoon-fed, self indulging, instant gratification society trying to get their arms around real problems using virtual experience ... patience grasshopper ... we need your help ...a logical thought process that is not dependent on software is becoming hard to find ... you know there's a 3rd option for your poll ... LOL ...burp

yeah phrag you are much needed around here and would be missed if you left. but even if you did go you would be back. this is an addiction worse than crack(no personal expirience LOL)

It could be worse, you could be gettin a list of questions about how to swap a different motor into a blaster like everyother day. Only about 1 in 1000 actually start the project. Its why I don't even list it in my sigs lol

Once again, I am reaching a point of frustration with people who cant use the search function, people who don't maintain their machines and whine when they break etc.....

Sometimes its ohhh soooo hard to keep from verbally (ok typed) shoving a swingarm up someones ass......

I've been thinking alot about this thread lately and I'm really starting to see where he's coming from. We do have alot of people come on here and ask what's wrong with my Blaster and not even doing the simple checks. There's alot of sticky'ed info to help.I see people asking for help as soon as somethings wrong. Take the time to check stuff first.Check:air filter, plug, compression, leak test, jetting. You should not have to tell these people that. They should have the basic info we need to help.it's Called using your head. If your Blaster stops running and it's real easy to kick over.check the compression!I know where about helping people but they need help us help them.

what i think trumps this all is when the ask why their engine idle is so high, and we say it is likely an air leak, and they say what do i do, and we say get a leakdown test, and they say they cant afford it, or ignore the advice all together, then,,,,,,, BOOOOM!!!!

It is BS that people don't take care of there ride. Like people that come on here saying there blaster is running bad and turns out to be a dirt air filter. Maybe it's just me but I read up as much as I can. That's how I found this forum. When I got my first blaster,I went online to find as much info I could on it.

all i can say is DONT LEAVE. you will be missed greatly and there is no time to give up. I say dont even comment on the ones who dont even try to search like there was a thread of a kid that had some problem and did not even take the time to be on here five minutes it seems like. not to mention he used txting language like plzzzz hlp me i gt a prblm. Its annoying man and i havent even been on here that long.

I voted walk away... I just ignore posts that irritate me. And try to answer all that I can. If you don't want to answer the question, someone will is how I look at it.

I think alot are intimidated by the amount of care you have to give to these money pits, but it's a love hate relationship...

I sure wasn't expecting to blow a skirt after droppin 3G's into it, Live and learn then pay-it-forward!

When I built my last motor, It basically 100% new parts, cases, bearings, shot-peened trans, crank, hinson basket, top end, everything. Used the la/sleeve-ct cylinder. less than an hour on the motor the pressure plate exploded. It twisted the crank, twisted the input shaft pullingthe far side bearing thru the case and destroying the trans, blew out the clutch cover. TRy pricing a new motor from the yamaha parts counter piece by piece, then destroying everything in 45 minutes. The only thing i could save was the cylinder, head and the allen head case bolt set.
