Shocks?

So im looking on craigslist just for deal ya no, and i found a blaster for 600 with a right bend, i was gonna buy it for pipe and resell, buts it was gone in a day.

I found some Penske gas shocks, the guys has 2 pair, one 15" pair, and a 19" pair. They are brand new, never been charged, do you think i should jump on it? the only bad this, they dont have any springs... But are still brand new gas shocks...

Does anyone know where i could get springs??
Or if they could be put on blaster with bushings??

I dont think you realize, those are for cars... Most shocks they make are for car, and race cars...

Quad ones are about 700 i think, thats without springs

Must be a newb with the double postings!!! You can clearly see that 3 shocks are missing the spring retainers,looks like the bushings in all 4,springs in all 4,recharged etc. If you bought them what springs would you go with single,dual,or tripple rate springs? As said in your other post these need some money to get them functioning correctly.Not something you want to get into just my .02 cents

NO. Your stockers will function better than running those with no springs.

I'm looking at springs on eBay, what would the strength be? I'm seeing like 800lb/in and 1300... Wouldn't I need like 200 for a quad???

If you buy these you are throwing your money away. There are much better ways to throw your money away like vig, small bills, paper bag. I gaurentee you can buy ALL my stuff, drop your motor in and ride . Plus you would have all my motor stuff and couuld work on building a 50 hp motor.

I will email you asap, i do not have a stock carb... The arbs i have are 28mm and 35mm mikuni's. Stock carbs are 26mm

If you are planning on going from a 26 to a 28, theres no point really, all it gives you is jetting problems

My bike comes with an optak egt and prob, jetting confusion will be a thing of the past.

those are nice its an exhaust gas tempreature sensor it's like having EFI fuel economy and it eliminates quite a lot of jetting problems. similar to fuel injection on a 4stroke
