Shifting problems on blaster

iv got a 01 blaster and rebuild it with new top end and bottom end. When i was putting a new crank in it seemed like everything was good. When i got the bike back togethor i couldnt shift into any gears at all like its stuck and when i do get it into gear it slips into neautral again and it doesnt even feel like im shifting i have to kick the dang thing and the kick starter seems to miss sometimes like it will kick good a few times then sometimes the kick starter goes down without even trying to start. i know help plz some1 im thinking its a tranny or maybe shift shaft any ideas

i'd split the cases and check it out bro, its deffinently in either ur clutch or tranny

well i fixed... i found out that i installed the shift arm upside down. its the piece that goes under the shift star and turns it. i had it on wrong and wasnt causeing the shift star to move at all.

What about the kick starter? It sounded like two separate problems.
