Would the Carrier off of a shee work on a 02 blaster so i can just do a straight swap to shee axle

You can do a banshee axle swap on any year blaster. You dont need the 03+ carrier. All you need is a hub.
Like said above you dont need the banshee carrier for the shee axle to work on ANY year blaster. The shee carrier is a little differant any way. (i think) The only part you need for the shee axle to work on a 2002 or older blaster is a banshee brake hub. On the 03+ blasters the axle will bolt on directly.
no the banshee carrier wont work without shims and some modding. Note as safe as the stock carrier.
So unstock 240 I can't take the whole rear end from a shee and put it on my blaster also how much wider is the shee axle
You can try but you have to make shims in the carrier bolts or something and you will need the banshee brake to match the bracket.I heard someone did it. The axle is 3.5"wider. Your better off buying just the axle, I think that would be easier. I got mine for 50 and the brake hub for 15.
Here are some pics with a 88-02 carrier.As stated above I would not attempt to use the shee carrier.It will only work with spacers and will not be as strong.Just get the brake hub and a shee axle and all else will work from you existing setup.
You can use your existing sprocket and hub,your brake rotor,locknuts,wheel hubs.All you need is a shee axle and a shee brake hub.All else will work.
