setting up a blaster for the woods

Any one run a 12tooth front/44 tooth rear sprockets, with 22"tires? Are 23x8x10's to big on front? I'm looking for ground clearance and low speed. top end speed not a problem ,rarely get into 4th. Any one ever run this settup?

12/44 seens super low, might rev out too fast.
but 23" isn't that bad up front but really dont have a need for them.
i would suggest skid plates for it.

id suggest maybe a 41 or 42 in the rear or like sheeblast said you are gonna be shifting so much its not gonna be fun to ride...

I'm building skid plates (have my own shop, mig,lathe,press .etc) .Might try the 44 tooth sprocket with the stock 13tooth. Building it with my son ,trying to teach him how to
make things instead of just ordering from a cataloge

why not do a 12 tooth front? its going to get you about to the same spot as the 12/44. should be a little easier to do, and you can fine tune the gear ratio with the rear sprocket
