?'s about YFZ front shocks

Looks like both adapters above will work but the top one is $100 shipped ( I gotta put that tword the shocks) and the bottom one won't work for me cuz I moved my lower mounts in & down a bit for more travel. Those blocks move the bottom mount out so I'm stuck with moddin the top mount. I'd like to figure out a jack screw but I should prolly just keep it light & simple. Like get out the welder :) Should be entertaining, anyway..

hey otis, elaborate on this..... "i moved my mounts in and down for more travel" ????? pics ???

Same basic idea as the swing arm. Move the mount towards where the arm hinges and the arm should travel farther with the same amount of shock travel. The arm also has more leverage on the shock. I may be way off base here but I added the new mount holes after checking the travel with the springs removed from works duals. This is why I want the adjustable comp & rebound of the YFZ. This old quad is an ongoing budget experiment...LOL Kinda ugly but I plan to cut out the ball joints & add receivers for vw tie rod ends so I have adjustable/replaceable ball joints. It'll get uglier before it gets better. Also want to move the arm mounts toward the center line of the frame as far as I can. That should be fun.
