running rich.....?

if you're not plannin on doin any major muddin, or crossing any streams, then do as liljatownboy said. a velocity stack will def give you the best intake.
but on a stock carb.....you might actually hurt your power.
also, reeds don't give you any bottom end or anything like that. reeds won't affect your powerband at all. just throttle response, flow volume and maybe compression.
 
I have boyesen power reeds and a vito's reed spacer,4 about 6 weeks now with n/o problem with a lot of wot in the snow just watch the heat.32.1
 
Thanks Jay thats all i needed to know since i never said anything about the VF3s. But i finally got my reeds in (Boyesen Power Reeds) so i removed my spacer and put the #220 main in. Rain like a 2 stroke! I cant believe it! But i returned it to completely stock, air box lid is on. Next mod will be exhaust and lid off. But thanks everyone. Oh BTW, there wasnt a reed stopped on my reeds. Is that bad? Or does it increase my chances of cracking my reeds?
