Runing pre mix and am getting wet oil and white smoke from ehaust. just r/r carb and got bike running. old owner (brother) said he had no such issue before he gave it to me. any ideas otr than last rights?

white smoke eh? does it smell naaasty?? if so could be a bad crank seal which isnt the end of the world its a pretty cheap easy fix. have you noticed your tranny oil mysteriously dissapearing??

It smells like engine oil. I just got the bike and have not ridden it yet to see if the tranny fluid dissapears. My brother gave me the bike and said there was a little smoke but ran well. He just got tired of fixing the kick start and had it sitting for three months. He had the top end rebuilt and bored the cylender out within the last 6 months. it gets no real use here on long island. The builder said smoke is normal because its a premix fuel. two cycle is not really my thing. V8's are so any help is nice.

Well come to think of it. what type off tranny fluid does it use? 90 weight or dextron? because 90 would sort of smell like engine oil. No?

the manual calls for 10w 40 i belive, you can use other stuff too i use type f atf myself alot of guys use bel ray gear saver.. and honestly dude it will smell like sh*t

I checked the gear oil and it could be engine oil so how would i be able ti tell which one is being sucked in now? Does this even have engine oil? how would i check? I pulled the plug on the right side by the kick start. that would be tranny right? Wish this thing was a GM.

the injector oil is in the bottle under the seat, but most guys premix myself included, and block off the stock injection. and what im saying is the manusal just calls for regular ole motor oil in our trannys. if the smoke is white and smells like sh*t then you most likely have a bad crank seal. with a blaster clymer manual and average mechanical knowledge you would be able to fix the problem for around 20 bucks.

The oil pump was removed and now pre mix. I'll replace the seal and see what happens. thanks. will post my findings next week.
