hole saw through the plate would be best, BUT I do like the frame guard, i would like to get one.if those one hole straps arent heavy enough you can get the ones made for malable pipe which is also an electrical part.

i was thinking of useing a hole saw to cut a hole but i like the way it looks without the hole

well heres what everyone was wanting im not sure of the angles but im sure you guys can figure that part out I:I

back in the late 90's when i did this, i just held the sign up to the bottom of the frame with my floor jack, and traced it out with a sharpie, i think i had to take the front wheels off, i did drill a hole for changin oil, and i used 4
u-bolts to hold it on, it lasted for years, till one very big downhill jump, in the strip mines, bottomed out, caught a big rock, and ripped the front loose, bending the sign, took the back bolts loose and pitched in down the hill, im gonna have to go back up there when my motor comes back, and see if it's still layin around

seeing foolish's plate gave me an idea, im gonna make the front bend up so the bumper bolts can go thru and hold the front on, and make a tab that will bend up at the rear corners so they can be held by the footpeg bolts???? then use a few u-bolts in the middle

i thought about bending it like you were saying to make it bolt into the frame but the guy had already cut them out before i thought to do that
