rm 125 dirt bike

my friend has a rm 125 and super heated the piston ring or something of that nature and hes trying to decide if he should sell it or not...it would be cheaper to get a new engine then to rebuild it probably and he doesnt want to dump 1000 in it when it was only 850...any one got a rm engine they wanna sell?

even then it shouldnt be near a grand. unless he cant do the work himself

top end parts for a 2 stroke should only cost around $150 piston, rings, and gaskets lol not a grand. a shop would probably charge like $300 to do it. and if the cylinder needs bored then it would cost about $40 more.

2 stroke top end rebuilds are fairly easy and if need be then do the bottom end too because those are cheap to fix too.
