ok i have like 6 yrs on my top end i have 120-125 psi comp....i am going to be taking my bike apart late fall to paint/cleanup should i hone it and put new rings in....just put new rings in...or leave it...6 yrs seems like a long time for a topend...i ride rather hard too...thoughts comments let me here em I:I

you could pull it and get it honed and put a new set of rings if the bore is in good shape.
or go ahead and box it up and send it off to Wildcard or someone and get it ported.

im pretty sure its honed before they port it that way it doesnt change anything thats been done as far as like smoothing out the edges on the intake port ect ect

but u could send them a already bored and honed cylinder thats the way i sent flotek mine

ok so hone it then send it out....thanks freek...also freek what do you think about 6 yrs on a topend and i still have 120-125 comp

id say that all the guys who say blastys are not reliable should look into this......thats amazing bro.... it would have to be a perfectly maintained, and tuned machine to run that long on the same bore with that good of compression after 6 yrs.......most guys seem to rebuild their rides at least 1 a yr

haha yeah i never knew how long thet where suppose to last i bought it brand new yr later she blew and i got it bored 20 over with a wiseco piston and havnt touched it since...i check the comp every few months and its always around 125....i have even use cheap oils lmao...but i have been running klotz the last couple months..you think i should leave it and get it ported or hone it and get new rings....

not to be an ass but ever post you make you say "i think" and "im not sure" why would i do something you tell me?

sorry but it just came out..

I post like that because like the one dude before who posted stuff about banshee parst swapping and i said everything could be swapped and i was completly wrong. so i post like that to kinda say that i think im right but not sure sorta like that and to avoid leading someone in the wrong direction.

If you don't want his information then don't take it. He's trying to give what he believes to be good advice, so don't yell at him. He's just trying to help you. Hell, you could go to a dealer and ask for advice and pay for it when you could get it free here. Come on.
