My buddy has a blaster with a banshee rear shock? he says its the best mod he ever did. i told him id never ride it. but does it really work? i mean it looked like it was sound, and a know they are a WAY better shock. but yea... does it work?

Does it work? Yea.

Does it work as well as a Showa 400ex, 450R, 250R, Z400, etc. etc. shock?...No.

I think the Shee shock measures longer too so it increases seat height.

correct. the banshee shock is a few inches shorter. even though they are ressi shocks, (mine is) they are shorter and will lower the rear of a blaster. only worth it if youre going to ride street or tt. which i have a blaster frame and suspension laying around, when i get the cash, i am going to do a full 240 stroker and make it street legal with the lowered banshee shock

front shee shocks are better than blasters. not much, but enough to notice. they are direct bolt on.
