I know someone posted a thread on here about these junk stators but I couldn't find it. Well one of my buddies needed a stator and I told him NOT to buy it, but you know he's a heard head and bought it. Well he installs it and wow no spark out of the box. I take mine over and it fires up first kick. Sorry about posting another thread about this junk but I just want to warn people!!

Yup junk we scratched our heads for 2 days trying to get a new build to start..put oem in n now one kick wonder..I threw both p.o.s s tators in trash..mine sparked but wast enough to start.. faint spark!!
My buddy's didn't even spark. I called a number I found and they said I didn't hook it up right, I told them when I out my oem it starts first kick. They offered me a 25% discount on a new one. I told them to shove that discount up their ass.
When I ordered mine they forgot the extra ground wire and sent me a whole new stator.. i never checked both but after one was junk I junked both..if it did work how long will it last
My bad im talking about rm stator not ricky stator..I read good things about the ricky stators. . I bought the ebay rm stator with adjustable plate
Ricky stators aren't junk like rm stators..you had a bad ground on light coil..at least the bike started and an easy fix.. no fixing when she wont spark..lol
Ricky STATORS are just as bad as rm STATORS. It's ricks motorsports STATORS that are the good ones. Ricky STATORS used to be good, but now all the work is done in china with thin gauge wire.
You are very correct. Ricky stator or rm stator is all the same junk. Only thing those stators are good for is the adjustable timing plate. Rick's motorsport electric out of Hampstead NH is the only good one with Rick in it's name. Why?? Made in the good ole USA.
