So I recently bought a new pipe that won't fit around my custom shock and I hav not decided yet whether I am going to replace the shock or the pipe but if someone is interested in the shock It might make the decision easier

So this is what I have, A custom built YFZ450 rear shock, I originally bought it off 1Bad442 an old member here when he parted out his blaster. It was built by HLS suspension at GTThunder and has an eibach dual spring kit that allows it to sag to the stock blaster height at it's lowest adjustabilty setting ... so stock height but can be raised from there. The bottom cas been re-shaped and re-drilled to be a direct fit into a stock blaster or AM blaster swing. The top comes with custom bushings and turned-down bolt for direct fit into frame. It is set-up for 160-170lb trail riding. The shock has been polished and 442 painted the spring kit which could use a touch up though it is not bad. This shock was serviced after I bought it and has about seven rides on it since servicing.

This link will bring you to full pictures of everything ...

I am going to take a big loss either way, but cannot let this shock go for less than 250. Compared to 600-800 for a rear works/elka I do not think this is a bad price at all especially for the amount of work that went into converting this shock correctly for a blaster and the fact that it is definetly not a stock YFZ450 rear shock.

If this thread dies i'll assume no one is interested at that price and I'll just keep it rather than take a loss and explore other avenues ...

If interested PM me ... ill bump this a few times and see what happens

Heres a free bump.... Someone should buy this shock great deal and i mean look at the rest of his bike he doesnt cheap out on things.

Don't get rid of that pipe because must exhaust might not work just a thought that pipe is amazing but here's a free bump let the pipe stay get a 400ex rear shock or a works or 250r somethin just don't get rid of the dyno port

@speeddemon - not going too, I got my eyes on a couple works ...

bump to top ... someone has got to want a nice shock. The spring kit alone was 200 not including any of the work ... got a couple offers but nothing up to par yet ... don't be scared, the worst I can do is say no and I was asked in a PM so just to be clear the only reason I'm selling is the dynoport routes different than any other pipe. If you are running anything but dynoport you should be in the clear and this is night and day difference over stock.

I remember 1bad442's build. That build had a huge budget and I know that shock was built the best it could be. A good deal on a custom professional built shock.

Wish I had the money man. Good luck on the sale. Someone hopefully will luck out.

$10 thats my final offer. lol jk Amazing shock. I remember 1bad442's build to. I wish he was still around. Pretty cool guy. Free bump for the BF Mafia Man!

I want that shock. Can I pay for it with food stamps?lol/jk. If you put it on eBay, post a link. I would like to watch the biding on that sweet shock. I have a feeling it will go for more then your asking price you have on here.

Ok, so I'm bringing this thread back from the dead ... I have gone back and forth on selling this shock or just keeping it. Put it on ebay and after receiving over 400 views and too many lowball offers to entertain I decided to just pull and keep it ... well kind of. I am gonna list it here one last time at the discounted price of 200 + 15 dollars shipping, I would also possibly trade it for a anti-vibe stem as this will be my next upgrade to the blaster. I'd like to see it go to another member, but if no takers this time I'll just keep it for a future project. Regardless, thought I'd check one last time if any one needed to buy this for themselves for xmas ... lol
