I have recently been racing my blaster and it had an issue with the throttle sticking, so we fiited and tors elminator kit,fmf system and reed spacer, also wiring stripped for racing and yet it continues to stick and we have noticed it only happens in the wet and im meant to be racing next weekend

like in the other thread, lube the cable, check to make sure the slide is in correctly, and make sure they way its routed doesn't kink it anywhere

check for an air leak is the next step. is the slide able to close all the way? you may just need to adjust the cable

ok where do we look for the air leak :-/ because the thumb throttle returns back to were it normally is in idling while it revs it head off then we kill it

theres a thread on here somewhere in the diy section i think, u can have an air leak at the cylinder base gasket, head gasket, reed gasket, intake boot, between the cases or the stator side crank seal, or from what i hear the carb cap can leak air also . . . i myself am hunting a air leak in my blaster also . . good luck

i had an air leak on the top of my carb because the cap couldn't tighten down, and also developed another at the base of the cylinder

well i just took my carb off and the whole of it is absoulutely soaking wet and there is grit in it so we are going to seal everything off and give it another test
