I am talking about the three long pieces of metal that go over each nut on the rear sprocket. I know the manual says to replaces these retaining brackets but do you guys do that or do you put some high strength thread locker on and call it a day?

If the retainers have an area of non use that will effectivly contact the bolt head, I have been known to re use them.

If they are pretty chewed up, replace them, Loctite will not do a really great job, it is an area of great stress, that is why locking tabs are used there.

OK Thanks. They're only like 2.00 i'll probably just tag them along when I order some oil or something.
