Why was it a waste? I had fun figuring everything out, and the majority of the money for the project was put into the motor, rear, wheels and tries, all of which are going to the Blaster. No loss. It was a fun learning experience

Great job so far.
Not a good day to work on the project. I learned one thing today:Maeir SUCKS! I put the tank cover and hood on the Blaster. The hood was not drilled, and the tank cover is a different shade of white. I am pissed. This is the second tank cover I have ordered since the first one was dimpled. The second one looked great until I bolted it up, and it looks off white compared the the rest of my plastics. Now I have to buy ANOTHER tank cover and hope for the best. None of the plastics really line up quite right, though I have been able to fake it up to this point. Total BS. Next time I am ordering OEM stuff if I can find it.
I still have a coupe little pieces and finishing touches to put on it, but I am currently trying to dial the jetting in.
Yeah, but after riding it today I think it is going to be a handful for her. The front end comes right up in 3rd. I guess if she can learn on this, she will be comfortable on pretty much anything.
Thanks! I was very happy with the seat cover, though I managed to put a tiny nick in it somehow. Bummed me out a little, but its not too noticeable.
