so for english, the big paper this quarters is a research paper.

Im doing it on 2-storke vs 4-strokes.

Im looking for some good web pages to get notes from, i have searched quite a bit, but i am having trouble finding some more sources big enough to be accepted by the teacher.

mainly looking for dirt bike or atv differences, but i can go to just the engines in general.

need websites, apparently info from forums (like this) is not accepted because the people would not be considered "reputable" (although i could get more info from you guys than any web pages...

I used google scholar, but if you type "stroke" in, 99% of them are on strokes

So if anyone has seen or could find some good websites on this topic, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys.

I wish I could do my projects on bikes lol. Il look for you but that's hard to find other than forums. Maybe Wikipedia?

well, no but yes on wiki...

I cant USE info from wiki, but i can use the sources they got their info from. (they cite everything on the bottom)

theirs a TON of info you can get
reliable sources that end in .org maybe not tho. i wrote a paper on computers and such for a class and my teacher had no freaking clue what i was writing about or what anything meant, so since the facts were not 100 accurate, i still managed a 97 because of the terms and technological terminology i used throughout. btw, you teacher most likely does not even know what 2 stroke is.

most sites i came to on google were forums.

if i search for cycle instead of stroke, i get a lot more results.

it would be easy if i could use every source i find, but he wants 1000+ words on the article we take notes from...

A thousand words isn't bad. Just breakdown and explain what you got from the article. Stress the key points, and write it prove that you read and understood the article.

That will get you there in no time.

Each place i take notes from needs 1000 words. the site itself has to have that much info. i only have to write a little bit from the notes

It can be done Herp. Your last post has 29 words, and that was just from reading my post.
Oh yeh, i can do that. hehe (evil laugh)

we read a book about WWI, had to have 100-150 words for each chapter as a journal. I could write 250 no problem on most. except short chapters.

I made this post because i was having trouble finding "reputable" sources. he prefers either from google scholar or another source from our school website.

I should have enough now that i can get by. even if its a bunch of small sources covering it all. I found a source mainly on power, another on pricing etc.
if i get enough websites, each website only has to cover one topic on my paper.

everything here is great help, thanks to everyone that posted I:I
