i have a 94 blaster and in the spring the stator failed so i bought a new one from ricky stator and it ran well for about six hours then the stator failed again. so i tested the source coil which is supposed to be 220-230 ohms and it was 130 so ricky stator sent me a new source coil and i put an hour and a half on it and it failed again. it reads 74 ohms now. the stator smells kinda burnt and the white rap on the coil turned light brown in places. the quad ran awesome all three times and then just quit. the last two times it failed shortly after i ran it in top gear for a couple clicks, not to the bar or nothing though. only thing i can think of is that there is a problem with the flywheel but the magnets are tight and i use a puller to take it off so it shouldnt be damaged. any ideas?

harness looks good so i called ricky stator today and they said the problem is on their end so theyre goin to hand wind me a new source coil using different wire and they assured me there would no more problems lets hope theyre right.sh*tty part is i wont get it till friday after next

mail lady showed up this mornin with my new parts and ricky stator sent me a brand new stator assembly plus refunded my money for my troubles....how amazing is that. so i got two free stators out of the deal. goin to put my other adjustable stator minus the source coil on kijiji and see if i can make a quick buck. goin for a rip later today...cant hardly wait
