Rep Points???

So what does the rep points really stand for. I take it there a good thing but i dont know how i got my rep points at all. im not gonna complian bout them but i just was woundering what the deal is with the rep points. I mean i come on here an try to help people out as much as i know from what i learned on here an from what ive learned from my own.

Rep points are given to you by other people if they believe you deserve it. Live if you explain something really good or whatever. Look on your user cp and see how you got them

im positive that someone with rep has to give u rep before it shows all the rep u have........lol if that makes sense......so someone must have givin u rep, cause now it shows
