So this blaster I just picked up a little while ago, the poor guy was so abused.. well it came with a fancy dmc chrome expansions chamber, that thisoron kid I got it from spray painted grey, a little paint flaked off which is why I could tell it was chrome, so how can I get the rest of this off? Power washer did nothing, and oven spray cleaner didnt help.. I've read I can.. I've read I can use 000 steep wool and 0000 steel wool, do I get that at Wal-Mart? do i have any other options?

I hade the dame thing on mine the kid i got it from had painted black and it was a pro circuit that was chrome i had To sand it down with 220 grit and finish up with 400

Did 400 leave it with fine scratches all over it? I was thinking if I used sand paper I would finish with 1500 or 2000 grit

This is the spray on stripper I use. Works very good. I wouldn't let it sit on there very long, You will see the paint start to bubble fairly quickly. Once it bubbles up everywhere spray it off good with water. Wear gloves and glasses and do it where its safe. Don't use the kitchen sink!!! lol
