Rejet or no? Just got a Blaster

Hey everyone, i just got a 06 Blaster that is 100% stock. I just ordered the Vito's oil pump delete kit. I was wondering if i will need to rejet my carburetor? I have been researching this topic for a while and cant seem to find a reliable answer, some say yes and some say no... I am going to run 32:1 mix. I am not familiar with these carburetors, so if i do need to go up a jet size do I change the main jet or the pilot jet? Or both?

When mixing, the oil will displace fuel and throw the air/fuel ratio off, this needs adjusted to regain the fuel lost by mixing.
I'd guess 1-2 sizes larger, plug chops will determine exactly.
I'd buy 240,250,260 mains and some fresh B8es plugs, start large and plug chop down

no need to change the pilot, but an airscrew adjustment will probably be needed, 1/4 turns of airscrew, allowing 20 seconds or so between turns for the engine to adjust, until you find highest idle and it revs clean to 1/2 throttle, reset idle screw to desired rpm
slight adjustments can be done as needed for temps, humidity, elevation changes etc.

needle stays in the middle clip position.

Thanks. The jets are the 4/042 Mikuni ones right? Are the Pro X jets good or should I order them from Vito’s? Probably the same...

Plain and simple... thats it! Mine is mainly stock.... no TORS or oil pump and it runs great on the 260 jet. Cardboard brown on the plug baby!

should I automatically go up a few jet sizes, or can I run it and see what the plug looks like first?

My spark plug right now is black and dark grey. With some carbon build up. I’m getting a few new ones now, but the guy I got it from said he never changed it... I think it might still be the factory plug.

Like AWK said, buy 270,260 and 250 main jet. Start with 270, work down. Plug chop procedure is listed on this site. It was so simple, I could follow it in a sleep! Your jet size may differ from mine.. take an afternoon off and find a straight stretch of pavement play with it. It took approx 20 minutes to dial mine in. Once figured out... let it rip! ENJOY!!!
