Recommendations on 4 stroke quads

I think it really comes down to what you want to do with it. Another note on the Banshee, my dad has a 94 model and it still has the factory hone marks in it. Take care of it and it'll keep to itself.

I can't comment yet because i am not done building my trx 450r. As tfaith said it depends on what you are doing with it. Reverse is overrated IMO and just adds to the list of things that can go wrong.

Really, now you got me thinking about a banshee. Damn I'm ether between a banshee or 05+ 400ex. I love reverse because it is handy in the snow. And I would like to have 1 4 stroke and 1 2 stroke. Tough decision, but I have time to think about it.
Ive now got one 4 stroke and one 2 stroke but it really depends on what you are going to do with it.A Race big bore... Honda or Yamaha will not be fun in the woods. Pure race big bore ..Yamaha 450. Two stroke ...in the tight woods , Blaster.... open riding sand / dunes Banshee. All of the above for fun ... my choice Honda 400 X.:D

I came real close to getting a Honda 700xx rode one for 45 min. Too heavy ..wants to stand up in the turns ,wont slide the rear but good ground clearance. A lot of power... but the fuel injection is too responsive... starts easy for a big bore. Very FAST !

The pred 500 frame is a FAV. Choice foe a street bike swap. Grab n r1, r6, or gsxr engine cheap. Reliable. You get reverse, speedo, rpm gauge, twist throttle, bad asd exhaust, sweet sound, EFI
