Is just milling the head a good improvement or does rechambering make a big difference? I can only run pump gas. I have a stock ported motor im running with an fmf exhaust and silencer. V force4 reeds and open airbox. Im currently rebuilding the top end and my local shop does milling but not rechambering. If i wanted to rechamber i would have to send the head and wait weeks before i can finish the build. Is it worth the wait?

Milling won't do the trick. You need to get the squish correct. Ken may even have exchange heads and you wouldn't have to wait.

There is instructions on the forum here on where to cut along with all the measurements. You can print it out and bring it to the shop and see if they can do.

I asked them if they could do it with the measurements but they said they just didnt provide that service. I have 2 heads boxed and waiting to be shipped to Ken. I guess ill have to suck it up and wait. Gives me time to catch my second build up. Thanks for the reply peeps

Too late to tell you but others may learn...
Order a head off Ebay and have it sent to Ken, or call Ken and see if he has a core to machine and send you. You get the core charge back when you send your head in.
In any event, I am sure you are going to be happy.
I did mill my head and just got detonation for my effort. Rechambering made all the difference in the world.

I brought a head off eBay and had it shipped to Ken. Also a flywheel. I still have my stock head and flywheel if I ever need it. Ken is super fast and perfect work.
