rebuilt kits

So im thinking about rebuilding my engine since its getting pretty old. Do i just order one of those rebuilt kits?

You really only need a new gasket set.

There are other specilaty tools needed to take the flywheel off, split the case, etc. Some get by without them, but for a full rebuild they help!

the top end or the whole thing??

if you are doing the top end get gaskets and while you are at it maybe piston rings, well it depends if you have ever changed the top end things or how long ago?
