Yes quad run before then i blew the piston. Got a rebore and new piston. Leak test and good compression. Just wont start now.

The brass plates tend to pinch the reed at the point of attachment, especially if they are over tightened.

Just looking at the pics the brass plates do seem to be distorted , they are very thin and distort very easily.

Thanks. Do you think i would be able to flip them or should i just wait to try get new ones shipped

I would definitely try flipping them. I would also us a little blue Loctite on the screws.

Try to straighten the holding plates, and do not over tighten the screws, they are really only a nip up, .7ft lbs.

Use blue Loctite, you do not want them suckers falling out.
