Rebuild on the "FREE SHEE"

I will get some picks up tomorrow. I just found some toomey t5 pipes for 150. They are in good shape so I'm going to buy them. Good deals don't just find me, I have to find them. I do a lot of searching and negotiating.

So this is what 1,000 dollars gets you.

The motor looks to be in great shape. 150 lbs compression and no damage to cases anywhere. I looked through the exhaust port and the crosshatch can still be seen. I'm sending the whole motor to ken occonor. I'm going to get it ported, billet water pump installed, and have him take a look at the crank. Might need to be tried/welded or a 4mm crank could find a new home. Also picked up some t5 pipes and silencers, clutch perch and lever, run/light switch, grab bar with tail light, stainless bolt kit, rear rims/tires,and a set of rental bars. Time to start saving money again for ken.

I have and always will hate the front end on the banshee. Those plastics are the only ones I can find that seem to change that. I think this will look good once I change those big dumb headlights.

Well my concern now is to get the motor ready. I need to bleed the front brakes and do a lot of other small stuff too. I am going to get these in yellow when I'm done with everything else. Then they are getting the 50th anniversary graphics.

you can buy novelty googly eyes or angry eyes light covers and those plastics are ok they appeal to some others dont like them if you were to turn and burn the old plastics to fund it.
