Rear grab bar

The dog of a blasty I brought has a bent rear grab bar.

Only problem is it looks to me as of it has been welded on? Are the earlier models able to swap rear bars over or has the last idiot welded this one on himself ?

Are all of the grab bars the same from 88-06? I found on ebay a uk stockist but ghe has 3 grab bars for a blaster, all supposibly standard but they have different part numbers ?

They are all removable. Your previous owner must have welded it.

Are they all the same? As I'd like to replace it with the one I have found but as I said, the 3 I did find are all oem but have 3 different part numbers

I've looked on the yamaha parts catalogue and none of them come up?

Can anyone shed any light?

They will all fit. Grind the old one off. Flatten out mounting surface and lot the new one on.

Perfect! I was out in the garage a little today. Ground that one off and ready to bolt a new one on had to retap all the threads as the bloke has messed them all up!
