hey guys i got a 03 yamaha blaster and i got a fmf powercore 2 silencer fmf fatty gold series and a k&n air filter. i have to rejet it now, fmfracing.com said 260 main jet,32.5 pilot jet, needle position 3rd and air screw 1.5. u guys think that would work?

I would take off the airbox lid and start with a 280 and see where you are with a plug chop. just do a search on plug chops if you aren't familliar with how to perform one.

I would start with a 280-290 main and do a couple plug chops, You can always go down if you are rich, you may be looking at a rebuild if you start to low and lean it out.

You guys have a direct link to a website to buy a couple jets? I remember seein somewhere that there are two different types of jets or something, don't want to end up with the wrong ones? I got a new filter and want to take the lid off.

Mikuni jets of this type are common. Take out your main and go down to the local motorcycle shop or dealer. They should cost about 5 bucks each.

You can save money when buying more of them by going to jetsrus.com or rockymountainatvmc.com The prob with mail order is paying for shipping, so it is only worthwhile for a larger order.
