Gotta a random as hell question to throw out, but what if you ran the blaster motor without a counter balancer? I know dirtbike motors do not have them, but what exactly would happen if i just took the gear off?

you could do that if you had ur crank balanced. but very expensive

I know ken was having a crank balanced but i don't know if he had any plans of deleting the counter balance
Hell, If i ever get a good job, I may be trying this idea. Maybe thats why 125's and 250's are always faster in revving.
if i am mistaken, the clutch basket gear gets turned by the counter balancer which is ran by the crank?
Never mind, just checked on a picture off google. The crank gas two gears, one runs clutch basket gear, another run counter balancer.
I couldn't remember. haven't put that part back together yet. but that would have been my answer if there wasn't another gear drivin the clutch
Maybe we shall ask Ken to give us some feedback on this topic? I feel that this may get somewhere...
there was somomne on here that got there counter balencer shaved down to take some weight off cant remeber who it was and not sure how much of a differnce it made
I remember that hud. it's the dude with the street blaster. and he never replied about it when we asked. not that i know of atleast
