Raising bars/ extending stem ?

What's the most you can raise the handle bars before you have problems with controls? How much longer is a Banshee stem? I want to make it more cofortable when I stand, plus I might go with a desert foam seat. I really dig the Blaster , but I'm an old fart . Thanks !! I:I

i extended my stem 2" and run a lower bend bar. i have no problems with anything being too short to reach just fine. i believe the banshee stem is about 2" longer, but im not 100% sure on that. i know that the end needs turned down to fit into the blaster bushing. you can also put another set of bar clamps under your bars to get an extra inch of bar height.
