Quick Swingarm ?

hey guys, i have a simple question about my swingarm shop swinger. on ebay they say that these arms can't be used with stock skid plates.



what kind of skid plate do i need to get for it? i haven't really come across anyone talking about this.


edit: they used to be labeled as not being able to use stock skids. it doesn't say that now, but i still dunno what to get.

man, you should talk to strokedtater, he did mine +4 and i cant say enough good things about it! look at the pics in my album and i was able to use my stock guard after. pm him, he'll do you right!!!

I already have the swingarm lol. Just dunno if I can use the stock plate or only aftermarket one.

I wouldn't think they would mount up any different, unless he added the extension where the front mounts are. Best thing you could do, is find someone with a spare and test it, or maybe custom one yourself.

aftermarket only. too much modding to get a stocker to work proper.

The mounting points should be the same between stock and aftermarket skids plates.

Thats what I was wanting to know. Wasn't sure. Its time for a skid. I have been riding w/o one for a year.

maybe its cause all the ones i see have aftermarket ones...learn something new everyday!

Worse comes to worse, if it don't fit, just resell it. Seems like there is always someone looking.
