I might have to check this out seem like my jeep has no balls sometimes this might be it?
Can i get a better explanation on how the zip ties go?

This will probably help your jeep.

Put the zip ties on the cable so it pulls some slack out of the pedal.

just buy a new cable. Then buy some E3 spark plugs for horsepower gain and better mpg.
