Just blew engine up in blaster. Sending off top end to Ken to get it bored to max. Looking at buying a crank off ebay from Vito or other top brand.

Question, what is difference between 2,3,4 mm cranks. Do i know to do anything to motor when i swap one of these in?

The crancase has to be trenched for a +4, to make room for the greater mass of the shaft and rod.

Ok, dont want to go that route. So a +2 or +3mm crank can just be thrown in? No other mods needed?

I do think a space plate for the jug is needed.

Kk thx. Guess ill just stick to boring it out to max and then using a banshee carb and call it a day.

there is no way ken agreed to max bore any cylinder, just for the sake of doing it, max bore adds almost zero power
and ken needs to be advised of any stroker crank plans, as you should be having him port that cylinder also for far more gains than a stroker crank will provide
combine the 2 for a potent set-up

sounds like your thinking in small block chevy terms ?

these are ancient design 2 strokes, and porting the cylinder is where the power lies, not stroking and max bore

call ken when you're ready, tell him you want more power, how much $$ you wanna spend, and he will steer you straight
