I Like this its pretty even, I think if i had to start my kid in a offroad sport it would be quads to start, they are more stable and u dont have as many things to worry abt like on a bike, but i presonally would rather ride a bike for sport, just for fun to me, a quad in my mind is a leisure vehicle

Both have they're risks and whatever, but I have to say a bike is safer. You may fall more, but generally, the injuries are light, a quad if you wreck, you are bound to get bigger injuries. They're just more rare. I'd really say equal for safety, it is all on the rider and the risks they decide to take.
