I have removed all hex and star screws from both sides of the engine.. I have removed clutch cover..

In order to open the case in the middle is it required to remove the flywheel ? Or can i open it while its there?

Oh and IF i need to remove flywheel can this baby do the trick?

Svinghjulsaftrkker, Yamaha - Svinghjul, tnding - Popcorn - CPI - Knallert- og scooterreservedele - thansen.dk

On Danish (my language, it says : flywheel remover, Yamaha) But the shop that sells it sells scooters and scooter parts.. but will it work on my flywheel...

Yes you will have to remove the flywheel to split the case.

that looks like it would work.

Ok i will buy that flywheel remover, when i have removed that.. what the final step to get it open? anything else locked? or do i need to split it with a chissel and small hammer?

Also : WHEN removing flywheel, do i need to mark timing or anything else? Or do i just take it off and put it back on later without problems..

you really need to get a manual ,it will eliminate asking for help on every stage of the dissamebly ,they are cheap and will make al lthe difference

Well i got my hands on The Blaster Service Manuel.. think its is a original Yamaha.. however it states that there are several special removal tools needed.. But i will remove the flywheel and stator on monday when i have the needed tools. . .

to split the cases do you have to remove the clutch side too? i just want to split the cases to get a quick check on the gears and stuff i dont want to do any major disasembally.
