im am thinking bout giving my blaster a new heart i know a guy with a 88 yz250 motor that runs prolly will have to replace gaskets and what not. my question is is it going to b hard to find parts for this year engine? and were can i get a custom pipe made for it to fit the blaster?
also anybdy thats done this swap before was it hard ive read its relatively easy. and does it help a lot?

man i was just lookin @ these pics on e2s yea this will b real low budget like 50 for the motor my dad works for a steel company so mounts aint a prob real good welder so it wont b any money my motors blown and i wanna put the yz motor in and buy an older blaster frame rebuild my motor and put it in that one so ill have to blatys

how does it do vibration wise can u tell im not really worried bout it as long as it runs i ride with predator 500s 400ex blasters cr125s i can take the 400exs as it is but i wanna beat my buddys 500

It vibrates sum but not enough to bother my kid. It just blew by my Predator 500 before it switched to alky. We're happy with it. It's still a good little trail quad but has a strong top end for the dunes. Upgrading brakes & suspension is a good thing when ya plan to go faster :) Good Luck

Do you think its worth doing the yz250 swap or 240 kit?

In this pic it looks like you didnt need to modify the yz pipe at all, and the silencer looks like a blaster silencer that has been chopped to meet the pipe, am i correct?

well it depends on if u have the resources to make it work and work right. if u can get a 250 motor for cheap id go that route but if not definatly the 240 kit will do just fine
