I found another toy to buy its a 2001 kx250 for $1000 or best offer. it needs the power-valve reset. any one have any clue were the power valve is and how hard to re set it would be

the guy who is selling that bike is retarded. He has no clue what is wrong with it. The powervalve is at the front of the cylinder right above the exhaust port. Just look at a parts diagram for a visual, that should tell you everything. Its a completely mechanical system so i dont understand how it can be "reset". Its probly got a broken powervalve gear or the shaft that controls it broke or something. Its like novice mechanical work
