power pros header first ride impression

well i got my power pros pipe i won off egay in the mail this morning (thank you santa!!) so damn straight i put it on as fast as my tools would work and took her for a spin. all i can say is wow, what a big difference over my fatty. im not going to bash the fatty because for what you can get them for it worked damn good for the last 6 months but this pipe gives me so much more useable power and seems to almost eliminate the "over rev" i had in the high rpm's with the fmf. i would love to post some pics but my wife "misplaced" our camera at her christmas party lol. but anyhow im very happy with this pipe and woudl most deffinately recomend them. i still seem to be running rich with a 270 jet, im going to put some holes in my airbox and see what happens. and dakotademon, yeah that was the one.

Can you just clarify what you mean that it got rid of your over-rev? Over-rev (if I understand correctly) is the ability to pull more revs even though you are beyond the meat of your powerband. Isn't that a good thing??? I'm looking at one of these, I'm just wanting to understand what you mean. Thanks.

yeah thats a good way of saying it. the bike doesnt fall off nearly as sharp as it did with the fatty once you go past your ideal rpm range. now i can put it 2nd and just scream around my yard where as with the fatty i would fall on my face and have to shift into 3rd.
