port timing and cylinder adjustment

Is adjusting the port timing and cylinder something i can do or do i need to send it to a shop. My mechanic left me hanging during mid rebuild and now i have to figure it out as i go

I was having a 3mm stroker crank put in and my mechanic up and left and left me hanging putting the new crank in. I am trying to get my motor back together and running right so i can ride

Biggest thing is that A LITTLE is a lot when it comes to raising the exhaust port. What is your goal? I did a port job simular to Ken's vid, and it really wakes the engine up I:I

you could always do the DIY porting and run a 1.5 mm spacer plate to adjust the cylinder/ports to your +3 crank

Better throttle response and basically all around better performance

I appreciate all the tips and advice. I love my blaster and am trying to learn how to do all the work i can myself and just want it to run the best i can with what i got
