port and polish

well basically i would have to remove the whole top end to get a port and re chamber job correct ? except the piston
 
exactly. The port work involves raising and widening the ports in the cylinder. The head rechamber involves changing the size and shape of the combustion chamber.
 
porting is by far the best mod on a stock jug IMO, on a ported motor the smaller stock sized carb will give exellent bottom end response and will peak to the max rpm potential quickly but will level out way before it should. still a blast to ride and will stand up the front end all day!!
