plz need help clutch i think

hi all today i installed new piston, vito's tors eliminator kit , new throttle new cable, vito's clutch kit and cable heres the problem.
put it all bk together kicked first time but was SCREAMIN AT ME so ajusted throttle cable so it was not reving so much but when i put choke in it revs up and the gears arnt engaging plz plz plz any1 help:-/

first of all did you do a leak down test? and there is a special way the plates all have to go together for the clutch to work and they have to go in in a specific position. but do a leak down test and wait for someone else to answer about the clutch im not real familiar with them

sounds like you need to adjust the clutch. if the bike is off and in gear can u push the bike? in other word is the clutch grabbing at all? to adjust it you will need to take the clutchcover back off and in the center of the pressure plate there is a 10mm nut. lossen it and in the center of it there is a phillips head loosent or tighten it until your clutch is working right. also be sure the pressure plate is lined up right. if its not it wont press on the clutchplates.

yes, there are 2 dots that need lined up on the pressure plate and basket

and the clutch adjustment rod and nut in the center needs adjusted with the cable unhooked, and the pointer an the actuator arm, pointing to the mark on the case, then turn the rod in till it touches, back it off a half turn, tighten nut (use locktite)
reconnect cable and give it a try before putting case back on
then try, try again, usually takes a few try's the first time you do this
