Has it been blowing excess smoke.

Does fuel dribble out of the carby.

What oil do you use and is it premix.

Do you have a healthy spark?

Were you riding hard or Granny tripping?

You must use an oil which is designed for air cooled motorcycles.

Although weedeater, chainsaw and outboard oil will work, it does not offer good protection to a motorcycle engine.

The temperature variations experienced in an air cooled motor cycle demand an oil with superior lubricating properties.

32:1 is fine, but when you clean out the carby take note of the size of the main jet.

If everything is stock you should have a #230 in there, but changing to 32:1 you will need to fit a #240 to compensate for the lack of fuel in the premix.

List any mods if any and someone will chime in with some jetting info.

Ok if i cant get a 240 jet yet would premix should i run because nothing has been done to carb.

Has a FMF FATTY thats all and boysen reeds..

The Fatty calls for a #260 main jet, premixing at 32:1 needs one size more.

Grab some jets #270 to #300 and do a plug chop to confirm the correct jet.

check for cracked/broken reeds while you have the carb off
