please help!!!

reeds are located between the carburator and motor. pull the carb off the boot and loosen the 4 bolts that hold the manifold to the motor. the reeds are right there. they should close all the way and have no gaps between them and the cage. also, before you do that, make sure you have a fresh spark plug and clean the air filter. those will cause the same problem are a much easier fix.

It is ontop of the motor between the motor and the gas tank, mounted in the center of the motor (or head of the motor). you may want to remove your gas tank to get to it.

it will be all black and oily. a nice golden brown is the preferred color for a used plug. kinda like cardboard. if its black and oily, it may need replaced. and no, you dont need to take the gas tank off. if you have the factory tool kit under the kit there is a tool to take the spark plug out. just pull the wire off the top and unscrew it with the tool.

^^^ thats just and inappropiate comment dude, being woman doesnt take away from you knowing mechanics, heck a chick can fix my motor while ill be stuck at wondering whats wrong.

sounds like a fouled plug. go get yourself a new br8es plug, maybe a couple.

take the spark plug cap off(the wire thats right at the top of the motor, just under the gas tank) and get a spark plug socket and take it out. if you dont have a spark plug socket, you'll need one because first of all, you cant get a wrench in there, and secondly, this wont be the first time you do this.

oh by the way, gas tank doesnt need to come off, you should be able to get the plug out with a socket between there. carefull with the new plug. they will break easily if you drop it then your back to the same problem.
