Did you see the little pushrod bearing, the little bb looking thing... If it's not in between the 2 pushrods then you'll never get it to pull in. Mine fell out when I did my first clutch change, makes life a headache. It's a .79$ part from the yamaha shop. Most shops keep them in stock and the last one I got was from some model yz 125. Make sure that pushrod bearing is in there use a magnet if you have to, without your working against yourself. Otherwise align all the tabs on the steels. Get a 10 mm combo wrench and loosen the bolt on the outside while holding the phillips head outer pushrod(adjustment). Do these and turn it in or out until the tab is aligned with the alignment marker on the other side of the case. Also make sure you have the clutch cable loosened all the way at the lever end. I've been working and I'm outside, so if this sounds wrong thens someone correct it.
