Newb here. I have a 34mm PJ carb on my blaster. I can't get the dam thing to idle. It seems like iy floods out. I have the air screw set at 1.5 turns. Main Jet 155, slow jet 50. Needle clip is in the the third slot. I got this blaster second hand. I do know that these arn't the stock jets. Cane somebody help me on this one. The choke/idle knob doesn't do squat by the way. Once I get it running, I have to give a little throttle so the ngine won't die. At the same time, the engine starts to scream with just a little throttle.

Welcome to the site bro........

As for the Blaster what mods does it have besides the carb. That is a big carb if the motor is stock.

A stock Blaster carb is 26mm but is to small for it, but a 34mm is way to big IMO....

Dont use the choke or idle adjustment on the PJ's adjust the idle from the throttle cable on the thumb throttle. That should work out for you.

Thanks for the replies. Its a 2006 YFS200 Blaster. I'm new to it. The work I've done just to get it running. I replaced the piston and rings. It was not bored out and ordered the stock set. I checked the sleeve, no issues there. I checked the reeds. they are good. The stator is in good working order and I get good spark. The exhaust is an FMF Fatty gold series. Drive terain, I couldn't tell you squat about. I don't have any issues with it so I haven't dug into that. I appreciate the comments about stretching out the cables. I've already done that and they are maxes out. Made no difference. Like I asid before. this thing will crank and I have to keep a very little pressure on the throttle to keep it from dying out. That little bit of pessure on the throttle makes the engine scream though. Like it was set up that way. I don't know of any other mods. got a clue?

i would say that is waaaay to omuch carb for your engine. with the mods in my sig i feel im borderline with the 34mm pj. i can adjust my idle with my carb knob and it works as it should, imo if you need to adjust your idle at the throttle cable something is wrong. unless you plan on doing some major modding i would sell it and get something smaller like a 28mm. you could get a easy 50-60 bucks for it on egay.

Talk to the guys at carb parts warehouse. They are great? i was having idle and low speed issues, turned out to be wrong needle. Mine idles and pulls like a scared rabbit now!!

Glad to hear you got it running good. I had to mess around with my PJ to get it right too. If the pilot is the right size, the choke knob works absolutely fine to adjust the idle, as it is supposed to. If the pilot is too big, turning the knob up or down does squat. The proper pilot/needle settings are key to these carbs.
